Our client is recruiting on behalf of an internationally successful manufacturer of Non Destructive Testing equipment. They are now looking for a Stores / Inventory Assistant to join their team in Swansea. Within a fast-paced and exciting environment, you will have the chance to make your mark on an important department in a leading organisation. As a Stores / Inventory Assistant, you’ll maintain and improve the inventory controls, database and processes of the company’s busy Stores Department. In this diverse role, you’ll prepare assembly kits, create work orders, dispense parts, receive goods in, dispatch goods out and manage any shortages. Additionally, your duties will involve: - Maintaining accurate stock records - Using inventory control software to create part and kit orders - Completing stock financial reporting - Assisting with the annual stock take - Helping the Shipping function to dispatch finished goods - Adhering to H&S policies and ISO 9001 requirements To be considered, you’ll need: - At least two years’ (ideally three) experience gained within a fast-paced electronic manufacturing stores and/or parts environment - At a minimum, two years’ (ideally three) experience of MRP operations and MRP software suites - Experience of identifying electronic components - At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Mathematics, Science and English Highly motivated and hard-working, as a Stores / Inventory Assistant, you’ll have excellent organisational and planning skills.
