We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Project Manager to join our Major Projects team on an initial 10 months fixed term basis. The primary focus of this temporary role within our Major Projects Directorate is the delivery of a country-wide business transformation project across all of Arvato’s UK sites. Working with our Business Transformation Manager the PM will be responsible for co-ordinating with key stakeholders to manage all aspects of the implementation. The role may require some travel and flexibility to work from other company locations. This an excellent opportunity to use a new Project Management system, manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope,create and execute project work plans, and to co-ordinate with key stakeholders to manage all aspects of the implementation. As Project Manager you will effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards whilst leading proposal efforts including completing project scoping and LOE assessments. You will also effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors though well-structured presentations. You must possess a sound understanding of Project Management principles and a general understanding in the area of CRM. You will challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor and inspires co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, be an excellent communicator and be able to exhibit the skill to manage client and stakeholder expectations. Skills/Attributes Required: - Graduate degree in Business, Maths, Science or Engineering - PMI PMP, APMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification will be an advantage - A proven track record of successful project implementation – 3-4 years of experience. - Previous experience implementing an enterprise project and portfolio management solution - Experience of managing change and driving adoption of new technology within an organization - Team management experience; comfortable managing in a matrix environment project teams of up to 20 people - Excellent client facing skills - Experience of the whole project life cycle, from Initiate to Close - Thorough knowledge of MS Project and proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio - The ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines - The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions - Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills - Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability - Attention to detail - Good communication and negotiation skills - Understanding of budget control The role may require some travel and flexibility to work from other company locations Arvato is an equal opportunities employer, embracing diversity in the workplace.
