This approved government training provider is looking for assessors who can deliver any of the following learning routes:

- Business Administration (Level 2, 3 & 4)
- Project Management (Level 4)
- Supporting Learning & Teaching in Schools (Level 2 & 3)
- Information Technology (Level 2 & 3)
- Customer Service (Level 2 & 3)
- 2D/3D CAD

You will be required to manage and review own caseload of learners, deliver high quality work based learning through training and assessment, ensuring that candidates meet all requirements of their Awarding Bodies and the Welsh Government, leading to timely achievement of the Apprenticeship qualification.

Delivery of apprenticeships will be undertaken in the candidates' workplace. You will be expected to be very organised and manage a caseload of around 30-35 candidates. You will need a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.

The achievement of outcome targets to contribute to the company's overall objectives is a high priority for this role.

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Delivering accurate Information, Advice and Guidance to the learner at all times, to ensure the full and thorough induction of learners to the programme that covers the suitability of the learner for the apprenticeship, a detailed discussion with the learner and employer about the expectations of the course and the service provided confirming the commitment to the requirements of the apprenticeship frameworks and then finally completing all required Welsh Government/company paperwork.
- Carrying out Health & Safety Appraisal and Monitoring visits where appropriate (when trained to do so) and assist in identifying where development plans are required.
- Following the appropriate processes and assessment of work in a timely manner, providing the candidates with prompt, accurate and constructive feedback both verbal and formal, at all times, prior to their next appointment.
- Following company procedures with regard to demonstrating commitment to equality of opportunity and any other anti-discriminatory practice, & ensure maintenance of confidentiality of sensitive information.

Primary Qualifications or Training
- Assessors of QCF/NVQs must hold the full Assessors Qualification as approved by the regulatory authorities, or be working towards such qualifications, completing within 6 months of commencement of the role.
- All practitioners must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) prior to commencement of employment.

Additional Qualifications, Training and Experience
- Good standard of education: minimum of a level 4 higher education qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent IT Skills in Microsoft packages.
- High standard of literacy and numeracy.
- Relevant experience/qualifications in the occupational area.
- Welsh language skills desirable but not essential.
